C is for Compersion

Compersion is sort of the opposite of jealousy in a romantic relationship. Compersion is the empathetic or vicarious experience of positive feelings when another individual is having a positive experience.

In the context of romantic relationships, specifically polyamorous relationships, compersion is used to describe the state of happiness or joy a person experiences as a result of a partner positively experiencing another romantic relationship.

Although compersion is sometimes called the opposite of jealousy, it's useful to note that jealousy and compersion can most definitely coexist.
